You will soon discover one thing – that you do not love people. You love some particular quality in that person. That quality could be caring nature, wisdom, knowledge, beautiful looks, a talent, humorous nature, good speech, politeness, power, etc etc.

So you love the person because you love that quality in the person. The day that quality will not be there in the person, you love will disappear.

Think about this – suppose, your best friend changes his/her behaviour towards you, and starts behaving in a rude manner, insulting you, criticizing you, and this he/she does again and again, would you still love him/her?

If someone changes behaviour towards us, our love for that person changes. Now what does that indicate? It means that you never loved the person, you loved the way he behaved towards you, or you loved something within that person.
