Unfortunately taking the action is the only way we have learned all our life so when it comes to the inner world, the dimension of world within, we apply the same technique, which never works because in the inner world, non-action is the key.

When I use the term inner world on the inner dimension what I mean is things like peace, happiness, bliss, joy, feeling secured, love and everything else that money can’t buy. Emotions are part of your inner world, your feelings, thoughts, desires and fears are all part of your inner world, where non-action is the way. It means that you cannot take any action to get any of these things, they happen without your interfering, in fact the less you interfere through your actions, the better your inner life is.

Happiness of peace cannot be made object of pursuit. They are like shadow, you cannot say I want to create shadow. No matter how hard you try, you cannot create a shadow, it comes as a by-product of doing something. For example you build a shade between two walls, and the shadow comes on its own accord. You cannot create a shadow on its own.

Look at your life, have you turned it into a pursuit of peace, happiness, love or joy or spiritual enlightenment. If so, you are violating the law of inner world. any action in the direction of an inner world phenomenon keeps you away from your desired state. Remember the floating dead body, unlike the drawing man, it made no attempts to keep afloat, it just surrendered to the river, and the river kept it on surface.
